FORCON-D PU 951 : Polyurethane sealants
Description
Forcon-D PU 951 Sealant for Construction Materials imported from France. It is a sealant product with very high flexibility and adhesion. It can be painted over. Polyurethane works suitable for cold storage applications, ready-made mortar sheets, and plycast sheets. It can be used with floor work and can seal joints as wide as 2 inches (with a width to depth ratio 3:1).

WHY POLYURETHANE ?
- Stronger than silicone
- Can be painted over while silicone cannot be painted over (peel off)
- Long service life (10 years or more)
- Has better adhesion ability. Solves the problem of repair work.
- Can be used with almost all types of materials, cold storage work, precast cement
sheets, floor joints. - Does not cause stains on the surface of the material.
Instructions for using PU glue
- The surface should be dry and clean, free from dust and stains such as oil stains or
rust, etc. - Avoid caulking at high temperatures or in the sun because it may cause air bubbles
as the chemical reaction occurs too quickly. - The paint should let the glue dry completely before to prevent paint blistering
- May enhance adhesion by cleaning and applying a primer.
- If working on a paintwork material, it is important to ensure that the paint adheres well to such materials as powder coated paints (Anticorrosive paints or enamel paints does not adhere well to such paints. Should scrape off the paint first.)
- Clear tools with a solvent such as Toluene or Xylene while the glue is not yet dry. If
the glue is dry, it must be scraped off. - The glue should be stored at room temperature or about 25 degrees.
Questions you should know ?
- When can it be painted over? > After adhesion for 7 days.
- What type of paint should I use after caulking? > General Water color.
- Why is the general water-based paint not sticking to the material? > Because the surface is dusty, grease, not clean.
- How to calculate the usage amount? > Joint area (Width x Depth) = Shot filling Volume 600 mm.
Polyurethane Joint Sealant
- Shore A = 25 (Adhesive Strength)
- Tensile Strength = 1.9 n/mm power 2 (Tensile Stress)
- Elongation at break = > 800 % (Elongation rate at break)
- Skin time = > 60 min. (Drying rate)
- Peel Adhesion = 120 N (Glass) , 150 N (mortar ) (Removal strength)
- Heat Resistance = -30 degrees to 80 degrees (Temperature resistance)
- Maximum Joint width = 35 mm. (The widest joint that is acceptable)
